It's that time of year again as the year wraps up, I'm taking a good look at my e‑bike to ensure it’s all set for the next season. I've been checking the brakes, tightening bolts, and inspecting the battery for any issues. What did you do for your e‑bike during your year‑end maintenance? Feel free to share your checklist and tips to help others keep their rides running smoothly

number 1 thing on my list is the storage charge. if I’m not riding for a few weeks, I make sure the battery is between 50% and 70%
storing it at 100% or totally dead is the fastest way to kill its lifespan! also, I always bring the battery inside, yeah cold garages are brutal on lithium cells

I picked up a similar habit after a winter ruined a battery I had left fully charged in a cold shed. Keeping the battery in a moderate temperature indoors can save you a lot of headaches down the line.
