Regen settings on slick trails

My cold ride this weekend was a reminder that regen can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
I hit a shady, icy area and nearly found out the hard way.
I'm curious about the regen levels you use on cold or slick trails and the reasons behind your choices.

Have you made any tweaks that helped?

Had almost the same thing happen last winter on an icy trail. I turn the regen way down when it's slippery and just use the brakes more. Gently using the throttle also helped keep the back tire from sliding out when I didn't expect it

Yeah, no story here. I use less regen when it's cold and only turn it up when the road is clear and dry. Too much regen feels like slamming on the brakes when you're already slipping.

Found this out the hard way one morning. Strong regen and ice don't mix well. Now I switch to the lowest setting and lightly use the brakes instead. Way easier to control.
