After a long day of hitting the trails hard, you finally make it back to the garage and start pondering how to properly care for your battery. Let’s exchange some advice on charging, cooling, and ensuring your battery is ready for the next ride.

After pushing my battery hard with a bunch of back-to-back rides, I realized I needed to let it cool down before charging.
Now, I make sure to keep it topped off and use a smart charger.
It takes a bit of patience, but it’s worth it to roll out knowing my battery won’t die on me mid-ride.

I learned this the hard way charging a hot battery right away just leads to stress. Now, I let it cool down, check the connections,
and keep the charger reliable and steady. A little bit of prep after a ride really helps with the battery’s reliability.

After dragging my bike through mud and rocks all day, I make sure to let the battery cool off, keep it out of the sun, and charge it slowly.
It definitely helps the battery last longer and saves me from having to push my e-dirt bike home unexpectedly.
