We have a big field no one is using and I thought it would be a good idea to use to practise. Neighbor is far away so I don't think motor noise will be an issue.
Everyone says starts and braking drills are the main things to practise. I agree though coz those skills win races or prevent crashes but I think I can do more than those two with the space I have. So I think I'd focus on getting really good at body position while moving, like practice standing up correctly and shifting your weight back and forth as you accelerate and slow down. I'll start laying out some markers to create a figure eight or a simple loop so I can work on my cornering entry and exit speeds without needing big jumps. And Any other tips setting up my field as a practice ground?
