Zero FX not charging

Bought a 2019 Zero FX with super low mileage. It was stored since 2021. First charge went fine, but now the bike doesn’t seem to recognize the charger. Port looks clean, charger blinks green then red. but the bike stays silent. Screen doesn’t even show charging status. Checked the onboard battery and it seems that everything is good. Suggestions are welcome!

hold it don’t rule out the charger itself blinking green/red often means a fault on the charger side (short, overvoltage, bad output) before even considering the bike. Try testing the charger output with a meter (if safe) or see if another compatible charger will at least wake the bike up. If nothing reacts, the charger might be the culprit.

Sounds like the bike isn’t communicating with the charger and that could be a firmware glitch or a failing charging port. Try a full power cycle, check all fuses, and if possible, test with a different Zero charger
