Zero FX battery questions

I just got a brand new Zero FX, and I really like this cool e dirt bike. I want to make sure I do everything right to keep it in the best shape possible.
I've got a couple of questions for the more experienced owners out there.

First, how do you maintain these bikes to make them last? And second, I know the battery is the heart of it, so how long do they typically last, and what are the best tips for keeping the battery in top condition for years to come? Any advice would be a huge help!

Nice pickup on the FX. Had mine for a couple years and regular chain care, tire checks, and brake inspections go a long way. For the battery, I try not to run it all the way down and keep it around half charge if I'm not riding for a while. Are you mostly charging at home or planning to hit public chargers during longer rides?

Congrats on the FX! I agree with the advice above but just to add, keep it out of extreme heat. Are you riding daily or just weekends?
