Mine had a glitch after bouncing over a few rough acres, and it started flashing random symbols like it was possessed. I took off the cowling, unplugged and cleaned the connector, and then added some dielectric grease. That fixed it right away. If it happens again, it’s probably the gauge itself that’s failing internally.

I’ve been in that situation.
My dashboard freaked out after driving on a rough washboard trail and started showing all sorts of glitches.
I spent a whole day tracking down the issue, only to find a dirty connector.
A quick clean and some grease, and that was it.
It’s crazy how one little plug can cause so much trouble.

That sounds just like what happened to mine after a tough weekend in the fields. The dashboard went completely haywire. I reseated everything, sprayed it down with contact cleaner, and just like that it was back to normal. It’s amazing how a five-minute fix can feel like a small miracle.

These rough roads really shake things loose.
I had random icons flashing like a slot machine after bouncing over some ruts.
I cleaned the plugs, added some dielectric grease, and it’s been working great ever since.
If the issue pops up again, it’s likely the gauge is on its last legs.
