My first summer with a high-powered e-bike was a real eye-opener about thermal limits, the controller was glowing like a candle! I added some extra airflow vents, switched to a heat-resistant lube, and now I take my time on climbs.

After one scorching ride left my motor practically boiling, I started taking longer breaks, using fans on the charging deck, and steering clear of full-throttle climbs in the sun. Just a few little tweaks but now my controller stays cooler and I don’t feel like I’m frying my electronics for kicks
