Hey guys, I'm seriously considering the Mantis X. It seems to be the most competitive choice in terms of specs and price among the budget-friendly e-bikes, but I'm hoping to get an idea about ease of ownership, especially regarding customer support, maintenance and parts availability.

I'm very keen to hear from owners here:
If you've had a warranty claim, technical issue, or needed to contact Rawrr's US support, how was the experience? Are they responsive, and are wait times reasonable for major parts?
Beyond common aftermarket stuff, how easy is it to source OEM-specific components (say controllers, harnesses, proprietary bits) directly from Rawrr or a US distributor?

Any current, hands-on insight on US service and parts for the Mantis X would be a huge help before I buy. Thanks!

From what I’ve seen, Rawrr’s support in the US can be pretty inconsistent, and they don’t respond to warranty claims very quickly. Getting OEM parts like controllers can take weeks due to international shipping. I think it might be a good idea to look into brands that have solid US distribution so you can have easier access to parts and support when you need it.

@heyjules.14 I haven't had a major warranty claim, but I've had to contact them for a simple error code fix. They guided me through a controller software update with clear instructions and a link. So for small, digital issues, they were quick and helpful

It's great they fix software issues quickly. I'd also check if they handle battery swaps and have parts just for the frame. Those can be tough to find, and your bike could be out of action longer than if it's just an electronics thing.

Great points made. I’d also mention that there have been some problems with the throttle sensor and display unit and those might not always be included in the warranty. Plus it’s worth checking if Rawrr provides any diagnostic tools or an app for troubleshooting on your own, it can really help reduce downtime.
