I recently got my e-dirt bike, and I can’t stop thinking about its range. City trails feel like a constant stop-and-go, while open terrain really lets it breathe. I’m curious how far are you getting in each setting, and what tips do you have for stretching that range?

Having smooth throttle control is crucial, those quick starts can really drain your range. Lowering tire pressure a bit for trails helps reduce rolling resistance. I can manage about 20 miles on technical trails and 35-40 on open terrain if I ride conservatively. But if I ride aggressively, that range can drop by half, physics is real when it comes to energy use.

Switch to eco mode on flat stretches and only use boost for hills or obstacles. Also, try to coast whenever you can instead of keeping the throttle on all the time. Regenerative braking is helpful, but smooth riding is key to maximizing your total distance.

Weight is more important than most people realize, so ditch any unnecessary gear. Keep your chain tension right and your tires properly inflated; mechanical drag can really eat into your battery life. I've noticed a 30% improvement in range just from good maintenance and smart riding, compared to just flooring it everywhere like there's no limit to power. Efficiency really pays off!
