So I have been riding my 2023 Talaria Sting R for a few months and really like it. but it feels bouncy and light compared to my old gas bike. I’m keeping the stock 19-inch wheels for now because upgrades cost too much, but I’m looking for tires with better grip and a taller front. Anyone got a setup or recommendation that doesn’t involve selling a kidney? Thanks everyone!

I totally get that feeling, it's common when moving from a heavier bike. The fix for the bounce is to slow down your suspension's rebound damping. Find the red adjuster knob on the bottom of your rear shock and turn it clockwise a few clicks to start. This will slow the shock's return, making it feel more planted. Then for tires on the stock 19-inch wheels, I think you can get a taller front and much better grip with a Shinko SR241 or SR244 in a 70/100. Both are affordable, massive upgrades over stock, and the taller profile on the front will give you a better stance and more confident steering feel. Just my ideas for a huge difference for minimal cash!

Have you considered giving the IRC TR8 or Kenda K270 a shot? They’re pretty solid when it comes to grip, and the taller profile is a nice touch. Plus, they won’t drain your wallet. They work perfectly on stock 19s, so you can enjoy great performance without breaking the bank.
