Is my MXR okay?

I'm new to Alta and just got a 2019 MXR. I gave it a light wash and now the display flickers when I turn it on. The bike still runs, but I'm kind of worried I messed something up. Could water have gotten into the dash or connectors? Is this normal or should I be doing something to fix it?

The MXR dash isn’t fully sealed, so even a light wash can push moisture into the connectors or display housing. If the flicker doesn’t clear up after a few hours in a dry spot, check the dash connector under the front plastics for corrosion or loose pins. Did you spray directly near the bars or use a pressure nozzle? That can make a difference.
