Always have zip ties, tape, and a multi-tool in my bag. They've saved me from fender benders, loose cables, and even a busted chain guard. Simple stuff, but it gets you home.

I pack a small socket set, wire, and duct tape, plus a tire plug kit for flats. Fits in a tiny pouch, super light, and a lifesaver.

Bailing wire is my go-to. It can fix almost anything for a bit broken stuff, loose bits, snapped cables. I also keep spare bolts and a Leatherman. Haven't been stranded yet
