electric dirt bikes range anxiety

I’m into e-motos, but the range anxiety is definitely making me hesitate
surron X claims 60 miles and the 79bike Falcon says 75, but we all know manufacturer specs are usually best case scenarios
for those of you actually out on the trails, what are you seeing in the real world? does sand or mud just absolutely murder the battery?
also, any pro tips for stretching a charge on a long day, or is there a specific model that actually lives up to the hype?
what are your strategies for planning longer rides without ending up stranded with a dead battery?

Used to ride gas bikes and was worried about range. My Surron X gets around 35–40 miles on real trails. Sand really kills the range, and mud isn't far behind. Using Eco mode, going easy on the throttle, and planning loops help with range anxiety.

Learned the hard way riding dunes. My Falcon's range dropped to maybe 25 miles. Woods and singletrack are way better. My tips are to ride light, coast downhill, don't go full throttle all the time, and guess you'll only get half the miles they say you will.

Now, I plan e-moto rides like backpacking trips. I figure I'll get 50% of the claimed range, map out escape routes, and ride with friends. Mud's bad, but sand is worse. Being careful with the throttle, using regen, and not racing friends helps save the battery.
