Hey everyone, I got my uncle's 2019 Redshift EXR. It's essentially a brand-new bike that he never got around to riding and kept crated up. So the problem is that after getting it set up and running for the first time, I'm getting a consistent Code 36 on the dash. The bike powers on, shows the battery at a decent state of charge, but then the service light hits and the ride is obviously disabled. I know this typically indicates a battery fault, but since the bike was never abused, and only sat unused, I’m worried it’s something to do with the internal BMS logic or a sensor that's just drifted out of spec after years of dormancy. It's a real kick in the gut because everything else is pristine.
Has anyone else dealt with a Code 36 on a low-hour bike and found a fix that doesn't involve sourcing a literal replacement battery, especially now that Alta is long gone? I don't have the MultiTool software to pull the full telemetry, and finding someone who still does seems to be the first wall I'm hitting. Any help on the most common point of failure for this specific error would be a huge help. Thanks!
