I’ve definitely found myself dealing with too much slack in the brake lever, and it can be quite a hassle.
Adjusting the free play is pretty straightforward, but I’ve realized it’s all about finding that perfect balance.
What’s your favorite way to get it just right?

Totally get what you're saying!
I usually make a quick adjustment and then test the lever a few times to make sure it feels right.
A little tweak can really help eliminate that annoying slack

I start by loosening the adjuster and making small changes until I find that perfect bite. It’s all about finding that sweet spot where it’s responsive but not too tight. A bit of trial and error can really make a difference.

I prefer to adjust it while I'm riding if I can, making sure it grabs exactly where I need it.
If it feels too soft or hard, a quick twist on the adjuster generally does the job

I've figured out that taking my time with the adjustment is key, testing after each little tweak.
If I notice any excessive slack or stiffness, I adjust it a bit more.
Getting that feel just right really matters!
