after a crash busted my Alta e-bike LCD, I found the $450 replacement cost excessive. I really only need to monitor battery capacity and the green blinker status
where to get a used display for sale, or is there a cheaper aftermarket way to read the battery data without the OEM unit?

Broke my old Alta LCD last season and felt that familiar sting when I saw the price tag. I managed to find a used one from someone on a forum, it works perfectly. To me, sometimes being patient and searching the secondhand market is way better than paying full price

You’d be surprised how often the community has the best aftermarket options you didn’t realize were out there

Had a similar problem when my screen went dark.
I ended up putting together a cheap aftermarket voltmeter just to keep track of the battery voltage.
It’s not anything fancy, but it saved me a lot of money while keeping the green blinker visible
