Battery drain on my 2024 Varg in cold weather

So I have been riding 2024 Stark Varg around the hills near Colorado Springs with a coworker who has a Sur-Ron. The Varg feels stronger and steadier when going fast, but I've noticed the battery runs out quicker when it's cold, like under 40 degrees. I wonder if it's the same for anyone here? Anyone else had their battery drain faster in chilly weather?

Lithium cells lose efficiency below 50°F and the Varg’s pack management doesn’t preheat like some EVs, so cold starts hit range harder. Voltage sag also kicks in faster, which can trigger early cutoff if you're riding aggressively. Are you storing the bike in a heated space or starting cold from the garage?

Same with. my cousin's Varg. Lithium batteries don’t perform well in cold and the Varg’s pack is no exception. Do you warm it up before riding or just head out cold?

@andreio1543 warming the pack before heading out can make a noticeable difference since lithium chemistry resists cold. Some riders pre‑charge indoors or let the bike sit powered on for a few minutes to bring temps up before riding. Have you tracked how much range you lose when starting cold compared to when the pack is warmed?
