Talaria suspension setup for desert riding?

My cousin in Arizona let me ride his Talaria Sting R MX4 last month and I couldn’t stop grinning. I ordered mine with a 72v setup and a controller pushing a 9.5kw peak and it hits 54mph without breaking a sweat. We’re both running the taller KKE fork but haven’t touched the suspension settings yet.

Has anyone here tried tuning the KKE suspension for fast desert terrain?

If you're riding fast in the desert, turning down the compression a little and adding some rebound can help the front stay steady over bumps. The KKE fork can feel hard at first, so setting the sag right and checking the oil helps. Are you still using the stock tires or did you switch to ones with better grip?

Thanks for pointing me toward compression, rebound, and sag, I haven’t touched those yet. Before I start dialing things in, what sag numbers have worked for you in desert terrain, and did you stick with stock oil weight or change it out?
