Is regen braking improving your ride efficiency?

After switching controllers I finally got to try regenerative braking on my e-dirt bike and I’m still undecided about it. It’s pretty cool for battery conservation but the engine braking feel surprised me on the downhill parts. Is anyone here running regen all the time? Do you think it’s great, annoying, or have you made adjustments to get it just right? I’d really like to hear what setups and settings are working for you

I gave running regen a shot full-time after switching up my controllers. At first, it felt way too aggressive on the downhill trails but after playing around with the settings, I finally hit that sweet spot where I could save battery without compromising the ride quality.

Now, I only use regen part-time definitely learned my lesson after a steep downhill almost sent me flying when the brakes kicked in harder than I expected. These days, I keep it a bit lighter and just savor the extra range.
