You’re pushing your e-Dirt Bike to the limit, hitting jumps, and suddenly you hear a rattle that definitely wasn’t there before. Before anything breaks down, let’s go over some quick checks, signs of wear, and simple tips to keep your motor mounts and drivetrain in top shape.

Noticed a similar rattle last season after some big jumps. It turned out that one of the motor mount bolts had come loose. A quick torque check and a bit of loctite fixed it right up.

There was this one ride where I landed pretty hard and heard a rattle that didn’t sit well with me.
Turned out the rear sprocket bolts needed tightening.

Last month, I felt this strange clunk during my ride.
It only took me about five minutes to realize that the chain tensioner had shifted a bit.
Now I make sure to do a quick check before each ride, and it’s definitely saved me from some bigger issues.
