Seeing a nearby e-dirt bike disappear in an instant made me realize that just 'hoping for the best' isn’t a good plan.

Between GPS trackers, strong locks, alarms, and DIY setups, what’s really working for you to ensure your bike stays safe?

A friend of mine had his bike stolen overnight, so I’ve turned mine into a little fortress. I’ve got a U-lock, a hidden GPS, and a small alarm tucked under the seat. It might seem like overdoing it, but I sleep a lot better knowing it’s secure.

Watching a bike disappear in mere minutes at a local park changed my approach to security. Now, I use a cable lock and a U-lock together, along with a GPS tracker and a tilt-sensor alarm. It’s a bit of a hassle, but at least the adrenaline I feel comes from riding, not from worrying about theft.

I used to just lock my bike to the rack and cross my fingers. Not anymore. These days, I’ve got a GPS tracker hidden away, a sturdy chain lock, and a small alarm. Thieves are still out there, but my bike isn’t going anywhere.
