Current tire choice and why you went with it

When you're out riding, it quickly becomes clear just how much your tire choice impacts your traction, range, and overall confidence on the bike. The type of terrain you’re on can really change the game. I’m curious about the tires you’re using right now and what led you to pick them.

Last year, I opted for wider, knobbier tires because I was struggling with slicks on steep climbs and wet roots. The boost in traction really built my confidence, even if I need to charge more often. Totally worth it.

I’ve been using all-terrain tires for a few months now. I chose them after having trouble with traction on loose gravel and roots. They hold up well on most trails, and I’m fine with the efficiency trade-off.

I switched to a softer compound last season after slipping on wet trails too often. The grip got better right away, but I noticed my range dips a bit on longer rides.
