best budget E Dirt Bikes under $2K

new to the e bike world and looking for a budget Talaria/Surron style bike.
it need to be under 4kW, 72V max, and have pedals and are legal in the US
has anyone successfully bought an e dirt bike from Alibaba, or is it too risky?
looking for reliable sellers that ship to the US. suggestions?

I was also looking for a cheap Surron-like bike. I chose a local seller instead of going through Alibaba because it's less of a pain. Returns are easier, and there's way less chance of getting hit with crazy import costs.

I’ve been checking out cheap electric dirt bikes too. Alibaba has a bunch that look good, but you gotta check seller reviews and shipping info. There are real deals, but if you're new to this, sticking with US shops you know feels safer.

I saw some stuff on Alibaba, but shipping and customs freaked me out.
Since I wanted something under 4kW that could be legally pedaled here, I went with US sellers I knew.
It saved me a lot of stress and weird fees I didn't expect.

alibaba isn't all that cheaper when you factor in these kinds of things. Sure, the bike is cheaper initially, but when you add in all the extras you're not saving all that much.
